Laura graduated from Glendale High School and later Drury University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Psychology. She attended law school at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law.

While in law school, Laura was the vice president of the student chapter of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the vice president of the Animal Law Society, and the vice justice of the Benton Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta.

Prior to moving back to Springfield, Laura practiced in Kansas City where she represented clients in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. She is an experienced trial attorney who has successfully represented clients in civil jury trials and workers’ compensation trials. Her many years of experience representing individuals both in and out of the courtroom have made her a strong and capable advocate for her clients.

Hobbies

In her free time, Laura enjoys outdoor activities including running, hiking, riding horses, and boating. She also enjoys spending time with her family, trying new experiences, and traveling.
