Audra is one of our legal assistants at the Licata Bankruptcy Firm and is responsible for behind the scenes work on your case. She will often be the one answering your questions when you call in, responding to your emails, filing your documents with the court, and gathering any additional information needed while your case is moving forward.
She understands from first-hand experience filing bankruptcy in Springfield Missouri can be the lifeline many people need to pull themselves out of a difficult financial situation caused by divorce, medical emergency, lost employment, or other financial hardships.
Growing up on her family’s large cattle, grain, and hog farm in southern Iowa taught Audra the true meaning of hard work and a good work ethic. After high school she attended Iowa State University in hotel/restaurant management for two years before moving to Connecticut to become a nanny, spending her weekends exploring one of her favorite places, New York City.
Her next stop was Los Angeles where she nannied for a family for five years while finishing college through classes at UCLA and graduating from Mt. St. Mary’s College with a degree in business management. Although she still enjoys visiting LA occasionally, she decided to move closer to her family in Missouri and help with their family businesses in 1997. She enjoyed a stint as a realtor for a few years before she settled in at the Licata Bankruptcy Firm in 2009.
When she’s not at work, Audra is spending time with her husband of 15 years and her son who is in elementary school. She also has a son who has been an active Marine since 2017 and looks forward to another family vacation to visit him. Audra and her family are advocates for foster parenting and adoption. They were foster parents to seven children during their four years of being licensed foster parents.
