Marc was born and raised in Springfield. He graduated from Glendale where he played varsity football and baseball. He was fortunate to have great high school coaches and teachers who kept him on the right track.
A tough childhood influenced his decision to practice bankruptcy law. Marc always wanted to practice law in a field where he could go home at night and look his wife and children in the eyes and feel good about his day’s work.
Marc’s father died when he was 7 and Marc was diagnosed and treated for Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer at the age of 16. These tough life events forever changed the way Marc views the world. He understands what it is like to be raised by a single mother and be diagnosed and treated for a serious medical condition.
He also understands how a major medical event or other traumatic events can influence an individual both emotionally and financially due to medical costs, lost wages etc. Marc takes great pride in helping ease the financial strain from such events for his clients and often reminds them to focus on their health and family while assuring them their bankruptcy will eliminate their financial burden. Outside of work Marc is blessed to have a wonderful wife and two children. Their kids keep them on the go. You will find Marc watching them participate in baseball, basketball, football, gymnastics, dance and much more.
Marc loves coaching, watching and just being involved in all his children’s activities. He is an avid sports fan and especially loves watching his beloved Mizzou Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. Marc enjoys being involved in the community and supporting causes close to his heart such as Lost and Found, Landon’s LegOcy, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, youth sports, Springfield Public Schools, and various other local charities.
