Krystel was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado and moved to Springfield, Missouri when the family station wagon broke down in route to Willow Springs in June of 1994. They never left. Krystel graduated from Glendale High School in 2004 and went on to pursue Early Childhood Education at Ozarks Technical Community College in 2005. Her daughter was born in 2006 and she was later surprised with a son in May of 2017.
Krystel went from managing a large chain retail store to working as a receptionist for a solo/small law practice in the summer of 2009 with no prior office or law experience. This was a general practice where she learned the ins and outs of several different areas of law with the primary focus being family law. She moved on to work for a bigger firm in 2012 where she learned the ropes in the world of bankruptcy. Her primary position was the sole paralegal in the domestic and civil department while assisting the bankruptcy paralegal when needed.
Working for several different firms has made her an asset to the Licata team due to her broad knowledge in different areas of law. Krystel joined our staff in September of 2015 as our lead receptionist and having the title of legal secretary. She spends her free time with her two children, step daughter and three dogs. She is a yoga and jogging enthusiast even though her busy schedule is a little too hectic for those things right now.
With her years at our firm and prior experience, Krystel can answer most questions thrown her way and is very knowledgeable in helping those filing Chapter 13 or filing Chapter 7 in Springfield Missouri. You will be greeted with her friendly smile when you walk through the doors of the Licata Bankruptcy Firm and made to feel at ease with her lighthearted demeanor.
